Year 1
The Christ Church Schools Team has developed a 7-year rolling programme of assemblies, with each assembly focusing on a different story from the Bible. Throughout the year, there is a sense of seasons in the assemblies, and we follow a progression from a ‘settling in’ at the start of the academic year, through to a ‘moving on’ feel in the summer term. Each assembly includes and introduction to the theme, a Bible story, a short talk with application, a song, questions, reflection and a prayer. They are designed for teams of three, but can be easily adapted for more/less team members.
